An eye in the sky provides an easier, safer and more efficient solution to accessing points difficult to reach from the ground, such as roofs, bridges, and wind turbines. During the inspection process, images and video may be streamed live for instant interpretation.

Kestrel Aerial Imaging specializes in High Definition (1080p) and Ultra High Definition (4K) aerial video as well as still photography utilizing an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) multi rotor aircraft. We are fully insured and Remote Pilot licensed by the FAA under the newly formed Part 107 regulations.
With a Bachelors of Science degree in Aeronautical Science, as well as being a current and qualified Airline Transport Pilot employed by a major U.S. airline for the past two decades, I have the education, knowledge, and experience required to produce the highest quality product while continually maintaining a vigilance and dedication to a safe operation.

The platform we utilize for aerial imaging is the state of the art Inspire 1 UAV produced by DJI. The Inspire is designed around the high resolution camera which is stabilized by a three axis gimbal for ultimate image clarity and smoothness. The Inspire is also unique in that the landing gear fully retract, thereby allowing the camera an unobstructed view in all directions. The UAV itself is stabilized via an onboard GPS which allows for a precise flight path to follow while also allowing for pinpoint hovering as it self corrects for changes in wind direction and speed. The DJI Inspire is literally a rock solid tripod in the sky.
